I am interested in systematic investigations of qualitative aspects of architecture and design – specifically, but not limited to, their evolution and associated theoretical paradigms, their interactions with contemporary culture and behaviour, their role as artefacts constituting the built fabric of a settlement/landscape, and their contribution in terms of tangible/intangible heritage. The idea is to inspect the connections between space, perception, imagination, behaviour, and practice, through discursive and argumentative research, as well as employing quasi-quantitative methods.
