Dr. Prakash received his Doctorate award from the University of Delhi. He has obtained a Master of Law from the Indian Law Institute, and a Bachelor of Law from the Faculty of Law, University of Delhi. Before joining the Department, he served as an Assistant Professor at Vivekananda School of Law and Legal Studies (Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies-Technical Campus, New Delhi), Law Centre-II (Faculty of Law, University of Delhi), Lloyd Law College, etc. He was also involved in various research projects, including Police System India Series (ILI), Human Rights Project (ISIL), and NIA Project (ILI).
Mr. Sharma teaches and writes on various subject matters such as Criminal Law, Administrative Law, Land Law, and Legal Studies. He is interested in the practice of public law, with a special focus on criminal laws. Since 2015, he is an Associate Member of the Indian Society of International Law, New Delhi.
