Currently, my research interests are focused on exploring 1) the physical forcing controlling the chlorophyll-a distributions and blooms in the Indian Ocean, 2) the role of Indian Ocean Equatorial Undercurrent on climate variations, and 3) how the watermasses distributions influance circulations and upper ocean variability in the Indian Ocean. I use ocean model, and obseved data (in situ and satellite) to accomplish my research goals.
