The core areas of my research include Non-communicable diseases focusing adolescent health. Health Promotion and Health Behavior, Behavioral models and decision making in healthcare are other interest areas. I am interested in research on Antimicrobial resistance as well. As part of my specialization, I often conduct qualitative and mixed methods research. With a community-based, exploratory, and data-driven outlook my objective is to generate reliable evidence which can be used for policy related decision making. For this reason my area of research focusses health behavior and related decision models. My vision is to further advance this field of research through community-level epidemiological studies and using innovative intervention designs.
