My research interests lie primarily in the use of computational mechanics to address some underlying questions of material modelling and structural design. Presently, I am working on the following broad topics of research:
1) Optimal design of thin-walled beam/plate structures
2) Elasto-plastic behaviour of ellipsoidal inclusions
3) Vibration analysis of plates using Dynamic Stiffness Method (DSM)
4) Buckling and post-buckling behaviour of FGM and composite plates
