We investigate electron transport in low dimensional systems and quantum materials to explore phenomena such as magnetism, superconductivity, correlations, light-matter coupling induced effects, quantum transport and correlated structural and electronic phase transitions. Of particular interest are 2D layered materials, van der Waals heterostructures, 2D alloys, oxide interfaces, perovskites and strongly correlated systems at nanoscale. Novel growth schemes of CVD and exfoliation followed by nanofabrication techniques would be employed to develop nanoscale device architecture for a variety of these materials and their electronic and optoelectronic transport would be studied at cryogenic temperatures.
