My research area is Power and Energy systems where I have published in top rated international journals and filed patent. Main reasearch thrust in power system restructuring area is on development of optimal bidding strategies under different market models, risk assessment and market power monitoring. In the area of renewable energy, my research interest include grid interaction of sustainable energy sources, islanding detection, PV shading and penetration effects, PHEV integration and reliability assessment, decentralized control of DERs in electricity market and Price-based control of storage devices.
