Research Areas

I work in the broad area of  Instrumentation and Signal Processing. My current  interests are in optical imaging, machine vision and applied pattern recognition.   Laser enhanced imaging applied to industrial machine vision, diffuse optical tomography and digtal holography for biomedical applications are some of the optical imaging techniques that my research group is working on. I have also applied pattern recognition techniques in biomedical image processing. Currently I am testing a field prototype for OHE tarction parameter monitoring by acquiring laser enhanced high resolution image at 40-46 frames per second..
