My research interests are focused in the field of mineralogy, geochemistry and genesis of ore deposits of gold, base metals, uranium and rare earth elements. Major themes of my recent research include: (i) chemical and isotopic compositions of tourmaline and hydrothermal ore formation, (ii) metamorphic melt-assisted remobilization of massive sulfide deposits (natural and experimental), (iii) uranium mineralization and REE metasomatism, (iv) genesis of carbonatite-hosted REE-Nb-Ta-F mineralization.
