I work primarily in the area of mine ventilation and underground environment with focus on estimation of shock losses, rock to air heat transfer, and network analysis. I have also supervised research in flyash characterization for paste backfill medium, characterization of atmospheric areosols, and flocculation properties of coking and non-coking coal fines using graft-co-polymers.
