At present my group is actively involved in carrying out research in the area of Strongly correlated electronic systems, Magnetic thin films and multilayers (GMR, TMR, CMR), Spintronics (spin injection, spin detection spin life time study) , Nanostructured Magnetic Oxides, Oxide Electronics, Complex  Frustrated Magnetic Oxides (Spinel ferrites, Manganites, Double perovskites and other transition Metals oxides), Multiferroics,  High Tc Superconductors (critical temperature, critical current, flux lattice melting, vortex glass dynamics),  Magnetic Huesler Alloys (magnetocaloric effect) for magnetic refrigeration applications, , Dilute magnetic oxide Semiconductors,  Pnictide Superconductors (vortex dynamics),  Electronic band structure of perovskite magnetic oxides, Phase transitions and critical phenomenon of .Disordered Ferromagnetic binary and ternary Alloys,  . Supercapacitors,: Metal-Organic Framework-based Nanomaterials for Energy Conversion and Storage
