i) Dr. M. D. Behera admitted as Fellow in International Society for Environmental Botanists (ISEB). ii) Dr. P. Chakraborty was elected a fellow of West Bengal Academy of Science and Technology (WAST) for the year 2020. He also featured in the list of the top 2% of Scientists in the world, which was prepared by Stanford University, together with the publishing house Elsevier and Sci Tech Strategies. iii) Mr. Balaji Senapati, a research scholar of CORAL, is visiting for six months the Application Laboratory, Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology, Japan with support from a Bursary from Antarctic Science Ltd and British Antarctic Survey, Natural Environment Research Council, United Kingdom. iv) Ms. Swastika Bhaumik, a research scholar of CORAL, has been selected for the Anni Talwani Memorial Grant for young Women Researcher by Indian Geophysical Union (IGU) 2022. v) Four M Tech students from our Centre won the Hackathon held in IIT Chennai as a part of the Oceans-22 conference, 2022. vi) Ms. Sunanda won the Best Paper Award in OSICON-21 conducted by Ocean Society of India in 2021.
