My present area of work is to explore the contributions of Indian thought in the fields of psychology, development, happiness studies, linguistics and in other related socio-cultural dimensions. The objective is to try and identify salient features of the Indic worldview that offer an alternative perspective and discourse to the prevalent Euro-American narrative in many of these domains. Furthermore, i use my knowledge and training in Sanskrit to access and understand primary sources related to Indian heritage with the goal of bringing to light the contribution and relevance of ancient Indian knowledge traditions and systems in the contemporary world.
