  • Our group is actively involved in syntheses of inorganic materials, surface active hyrbids, nano coordination polymer, and method development for Environmental Analytical Chemistry. Our focus areas are:

    > Preparation of Hybrid/Mixed Metal Oxides/Nanomaterials for photocatalysis and surface applications towards environmental benifits (like photocatalysis, gas sensing, sensing of pollutants, oxygen generation, oil spill clean up, electrodes microbial fuel cell, self cleaning surfaces, remediation of water pollutants, etc. 

    > Green Methodologies for selective organictransformation/photo-redox reactions: Selective organic transformations, Green Chemistry, Photo-redox chemistry using visible light active materials using CFL lamp, Photo-lamp and natural sun light. 

    > Developing Analytical Methods for the detection of heavy metals/toxic organic compounds/ water pollutants/radicals or ROS (in AOP) using various instruments or chemical approaches.

    > We also engaged with various industries/R&Ds for applied chemical aspects including chemical process optimization, yiled/production improvement, food ingredients, dyes, pollution control and Analytical methods through consultancy projects.
